April 24, 2010 4 Week Program Going Strong!
This first week of the 4 Weeks of 5 Days Raw program is going great. Everyone weighed in yesterday and some of the losses for the second week (click here to see how they did during their 5 Days of Raw program last week)were quite impressive. Even my other clients who have decided to participate in the program have benefited from having this dynamic group to work with. Sure people have struggled. It's a diet after all, but the support has been there above and beyond what you would expect. People are asking great questions, they are finding where they are comfortable with raw foods, and they are all getting out there and exercising. Personally, I am really enjoying this group. The motivation is infectious. Some of the weight losses have been great as well. Here are a few notable women with their loss this week. (I'm doing this to motivate you!) Stacy - another 4.8 lbs this week. She is back! This is a woman who knows how to do this. She doesn't struggle with can she do it or not, she just digs in and gets it done! Next week she should hit the 170's. How exciting is that? If you recall, Stacy had already lost 110 pounds in 2008. Now she is off toward her goal weight! Lekshe - another 3.4 lbs this week. Lekshe started with me a while back, but got side tracked with a trip to India. She has come back and is such a great source of inspiration for others. This 3.4 lbs she has lost is beyond what she had lost prior to going to India. LNTBB - another 3 lbs this week. LNTBB is also a returning member. She did the full 4 months of programs and has come back to get more off. She too is very active on the boards and very supportive. We are all grateful she is there. AzMom - I'm not sure exactly how much she has lost this week. 2.3 lbs I'm sure of. She's been on vacation and doesn't have her scale, but she thinks she's lost over 3 pounds. She has been doing great while away from home and is proving that just being out of your element doesn't mean you can't be successful. Cosi - Finally, Cosi is back on track with 3.6 pounds gone this week. She has been struggling to find her groove and get her head back in the game, but this week she found it and has done fantastic. She is almost back to her 135 pounds that she reached the last time she was with me. She's off in NYC for some fun, but when she comes back, I'll be on her to get back to her maintenance weight, and to shed that last ten pounds to reach her big goal of 125 lbs. Hermosa - 4.8 lbs this week. This is excellent since she has a guest staying with her and has been out to eat at restaurants. Hermosa is doing the Breaking Fat Brain Behaviors program with support from me as a Fast Weight Loss client. She is working hard to stick with her program and to see what trips her up and where she can polish her resolve to not just lose the weight, but keep it off. Potheir - 4 lbs, and that was from a weigh in a few days ago. I'm sure she's lost more by now. There were a few days last week I was worried. She did do her logs with me as a Fast Weight Loss client, but other than that we didn't hear much from her because of a downed internet, but she came back with a big loss. Janel - I'm not sure yet, but yesterday afternoon she weighed herself with a 3.5 lb loss. That was in the afternoon! So I'm sure it is going to be a nicer number this morning. Martoon - 9 lbs in 5 days. Martoon is a new private client who is also working on the forum with the group. Her first 5 days and already 9 pounds are gone. How awesome is raw food? ReadyToChange - Another new private client who is participating on the forums. She dropped 4 pounds her first two days which surprised me because she is coming from a pretty healthy diet. So there is a recap for you. I hope these women's success motivates you to go after your own. Whether with us or on your own, it is possible to lose weight and keep it off. Start today by adding more low glycemic index fruits and veggies to your diet every day. Drop the processed foods and get out there and walk. There is no magic in any of this, it is just good common sense and healthy eating with exercise. Nothing you haven't heard for decades. There is only one way to lose weight and gain health.
