Carlene Jones In January my clients lost 135lbs! www.CarleneJones.com Email Me to Discuss Starting Your Weight Loss Journey |

Jan 29, 2010 February 1st is almost here. How are you doing on your resolutions? I'm doing great. I have sent out my first queries to agents for my novel. My first choice takes 6 weeks just to answer a query without looking at the manuscript, so while I still have a few pickups to do on the book I thought I would get a head start. And I have the major story line for the second and third book already formulated, so I am right on target for my year goal of having all three books done and out by the end of the year. My clients are well on their way to their goals as well. Oh, maybe not as fast as when they were all doing 100% low fat raw, but there is a big difference. Attitude. I know I talk about that a lot, but it always comes into play. The first couple of weeks of my new program is tough because everyone has expectations for a diet. They think I should tell them exactly what to eat, offer them recipes, and give them step-by-step instructions. Just like every other diet out there. That is not how this program works. Working with me is a joint effort. I offer guidelines, support, and four years of experience working with women and their obesity issues. Food is not the major obstacle in everyone's battle, it is the reluctance to assume responsibility for our own health. Before you can take responsibility, you must learn the truth behind what you are currently doing so you know where you need to change. Some people don't want to change. If you aren't ready to take responsibility then this program won't help you. Sure you can go on another starvation diet, but where does that get you? Thirty pounds slimmer for a week or two? Why bother? Instead, why not use 2010 to master your food issues and come to terms with what is honestly important to you? When I say my clients are doing great on their new year resolutions, I am talking about coming to grips with what they can do, but more importantly what they are willing to do for the health and bodies they want. Most find they are tired of starvation, that even though idealistically they would love to live on clean organic fruits and veggies for optimal health, they do better with a little cream in their coffee, or an omelet here and there, or steamed veggies and an occasional cup of pasta. Not everyone of course. Others find that if they do a modified low fat raw diet that lets them have some avocado and oil on their salads that they can thrive. But no one really knows unless they are willing to figure it out. I still get people who come to me and want to do the 100% low fat raw, and I let them. Most however before the first four weeks are done switch to the Perfect Diet Program. Not on my suggestions, but because they realize that although they want the fast weight loss, they don't want to live such a structured life. There is nothing wrong with that. As you consider where you want to be by the end of this year. Consider this. Had you just lost 1 pound a week last year on a diet full of good fun foods and a half hour walk a day, you would be 54 pounds lighter than you are right now. You barely would have noticed the difference in the amount of food had you learned to make better choices, and those choices do not have to be all or nothing. My clients still enjoy a variety of their favorite foods. It is just they have finally learned or are learning that a cup of pasta satisfies that desire for spaghetti as much as five cups, and you don't need oil to grease a pan when you cook. For those who do raw, they are finally getting that nuts, oil, and sodium are not the way to go, and finally seeing how they can stop the binging by maintaining a balanced diet that is still full of flavor. A new program starts on Monday, February 1st. I hope you will join us. Here is what a couple of clients have said recently about the Finding Your Perfect Diet program: Nikki I enjoyed it because it didn't seem hard, and there was lots of eye opening moments. I didn't look at it as if I were on a diet, because in reality, I wasn't. Just trying to alter my diet was a wise choice. I think now I will always be informed of what I put into my body. I cant believe that before I began this program I was eating around 2500+ calories a day!! Dark Blonde I love that you've been here and you know all the pitfalls. Clearly we obese folks are caught in a loop we can't and won't escape from for what ever reasons. The daily audios are inspiring. The daily support is gentle but firm and I really need that accountability without the judgment. That change has to come from within and you have a way of reaching in us and awakening that self motivation and pure intent, which I respond to. Monday, Feb 1st is the next start date for both the Finding Your Perfect Diet and the 100% Raw Fast Weight Loss program. They both run for 4 weeks. Everyone has access to the morning audios and assignments so that even if you are doing 100% raw, you are working for the change needed to keep the weight off. We also have a daily doings thread where everyone regardless of the program they are in can get together and discuss anything from their diet to their angst over what is going on in Haiti. Six twenty-eight day programs. The first program, Finding Your Perfect Diet will be about looking honestly at your past behaviors and coming up with a program that you feel will work for you. That can be 100% raw, or it can be no raw. What matter is that it works for you. You can choose fast weight loss with lots of walking, or you can choose slower weight loss with minimal walking. Instead of two Breaking Fat Brain Behavior programs and one Emotional Eating program, there will be Five 28 day programs to help you break old behaviors. Emotional Eating will be covered in all of them, but what I found last year was that we needed to work gradually through some of the fat brain behaviors and discuss emotions throughout the program and not wait until the end. Many felt they needed a break between subjects, so will work slower on the tougher behaviors, take weekends off from assignments, and spend time outside the assignments as a group to discuss the day to day reality of personal change. Others have asked that the site have more socializing, so everyone regardless of when they join will have access to the group as a whole, and not just the few that joined with them. For those that finish all six programs, you will get the following: 1 Year's worth of access to all the daily audios and the assignments used during your program, and membership to our private area where you can continue to work with the friends you made to reach your ultimate goals. What do you need to do to join? Each 28 day program cost $149.00 or if you agree to share your photos with a blurred face, you can save $50 per program, and pay just $99.00. Pay for 5 months up front and get your sixth month free! You can click here to go directly to the application, or you can go to the Finding Your Perfect Diet outline and the Breaking Fat Brain Behaviors outline to read more. If you have any problems with the application process, please email me. The perfect day to start taking control of your relationship with food will never arrive, so why not make it today? If you want to help me reach more of the obese community and offer hope to those who think surgery is their only answer, please put a link to my sites on your blog, on your own website, anywhere to help create an organically growing back link list for me.
