We talked about the black hole of depression today.  The black hole that makes us not care and makes us eat.  Sometimes I have fallen into the hole by accident.  Other times I have defiantly jumped in.  No matter how many times I find myself into that hole, Carlene reaches in and pulls me out; thank God!  Today she said, "stay away from the black hole.....find happiness."  Today I decided that Carlene is right.  The black hole only brings misery and pain.  Today I stayed away from the hole.....I didn't even get near it.  Thank You Carlene!

I hear from many who want to use the idea of hungry and full as indicators to start and stop eating. They tell me that this is how they want to live. Yet, they don't seem to have a clue how to tell when they are hungry or full. For most of the obese there seems to be some mis-connection between the belly and the brain. I know that until I went raw I had never really experienced hunger, nor did I know when I was full. I ate until I hurt. This is common for the obese.

This 4 day workshop is designed to offer exercises for you to teach yourself the difference between hunger and appetite and how to know if you are full or not. Each of the four days we will do different exercises trying to help our brain make the connection. It does take time, but if you practice these exercises on your own you can retrain the brain so you do stop eating before your belly hurts and you know 100% if your body is really hungry or if you just have the munchies.

This is not a weight loss workshop. It is a workshop to specifically work on learning how to make this hungry/full - body/brain connection.

What You Need Before Getting Started - By doing this program you acknowledge that Carlene is not a fitness, medical or nutrition professional and that you assume all risk and liability to your health and well-being while doing this program.

As with all diet programs, it is strongly recommended that you check with a health care professional before starting this program.
