This is a great program for a busy person who needs a little support to accomplish an urgent but maybe unfocused goal to lose weight and gain fitness and joy.
I have learned a method for creating a dependable, reasonable system for losing weight and re-gaining health and the pleasure of a healthy body. Carlene's system is fast and effective, but it's based on real life, not on trumped up myths and promises that create failure and disappointment.
Carlene is an expert coach who doles out advice, discipline and support in just the right balance to keep me on track and motivated. I came to lose weight, and I have lost over 20 lbs in the first 6 weeks. But the real news is that with Carlene's help I am creating a system of diet and exercise--of lifestyle and self-responsibility--that will last my whole life. I cannot underestimate the value of the investment I've made here. I am learning how to put food in its proper place while enjoying some of the best meals of my life. In addition--and this seems almost miraculous--Carlene's gotten me to exercise an hour and a half a day in the midst of a schedule so demanding I would have never thought it was possible. I would recommend this program to every person who tried to lose weight and failed and those who already gave up on ever loosing weight - give it one last chance, you won't be sorry.
Thinking about diets and eating habits in a more calculated and mathematical way that helps facing the reality of our overeating habits. This system helps us facing the reality of our compulsive eating and reduces the influence of the emotional component. It is a fast way to get a reality check and learn to recognize all the food lies that we told ourselves all these years of overeating.
I think the program should be longer. The human brain needs at least three months of repetition of a new habit in order to turn it into reality. At this point I don't trust myself to keep on going without guidance and this is why I know that I want to keep on going with the program for at least another 3 months. I know when I'll be done with the program I will be strong and knowledgeable enough to keep on doing it for the rest of my life.

You will be part of a group ready to explore their honest relationship to food and their willingness to create success. This program will be set in a private forum where you will receive daily assignments to do together as a group. From your home page on my website, you will have access to daily audios from me that coincide with the daily assignments. Each week you will weigh in on your scheduled weigh in date, and I will review your food logs and journal that you will maintain on the free nutritional analysis program at www.fitday.com. I will then send you a personal email with my thoughts on how you can tweak your program for success and address anything in your journal that I think needs to be discussed.
Photos are recommended, but not required. You do not have to share your weight with the group, but are required to weigh in weekly with Carlene.
This is not a fast weight loss program, nor is it a raw food program. It is about finding the perfect diet and exercise program that will work for you long term. Everyone needs to come with an open mind to leave old dieting conventions behind. This approach is based on the success clients in the private coaching program are having once they get past their fear of eating. The diet you create will be completely individualized based on your eating preferences and what you are honestly capable of doing. There is no one perfect diet for everyone.
I know you want to immediately jump into fast weight loss just like every other diet you have tried, but think hard. If those other diets worked, you would not be here reading this. Instead we are going to work on you to get you ready for success with a plan you can do for the long haul.
Requirements:
Plan to be on the forum for 20-30 minutes per day as you listen to the audios and do the daily assignments. You can do the daily assignments at your convenience throughout the day.
Food and journal to be recorded daily on the free nutritional analysis program at www.fitday.com. When signing up, please create a username and password that are easily remembered to make my life easier.
A willingness to change, and an open mind to the type of diet that will bring you health, happiness and weight loss.
Week 1:
The first week everyone will move into a maintenance diet. I know that is a backwards approach, but it is amazing how well it works. As I said before this is the hardest thing to do because everyone just wants fast weight loss right from the start. Doing maintenance first lets us find a baseline for you, and lets you explore foods you honestly thought could never be on a diet for you. We will look at the foods that trigger overeating for you, and the ones that you can eat and feel satisfied with. There is no right or wrong food, there is only good choices based on who you are and what you honestly want to achieve. This first week we will take an honest look at what your food addictions are and how you can start to stand up to the Fat Brain Lies that have kept you fat.
Week 2:
In the second week, some will lower their calories slightly to see how they feel with a little less food. We will start to look at the truth behind the foods you love, how you honestly eat, and what has kept you from losing and keeping the weight off in the past. There are no judgments made here. Each of us have done some horrible things to satisfy our food addictions. There will be no true confessions going on, but we will start to dissect some of the lies we tell ourselves about our ability to succeed.
Week 3:
In Week 3 you will move into your first phase of weight loss. You will probably have already lost some weight during the maintenance program, but this week we will shave calories from your perfect diet. This way you will barely notice the change and be able to continue without a sense of deprivation. This week we will talk a lot about taking responsibility for your relationship to food and how to make the best choices for your situation.
Week 4:
This week you will drop to the weight loss diet they will use to reach your goal. We will examine all the reasons you have failed on diets in the past and how with your new diet all of those excuses are invalid. We will work on how to do this long term while tweaking your diet for continued success.
This really does work for those who are ready to change!

1. All forms of eating are supported except for fasting or liquid diets. It is my goal to teach you how to eat food, real food, and build a diet that does not require any deprivation.
